About Julia

I really value and care about the people in both my personal and professional life. I feel lucky that my work gives me the opportunity to make a positive difference. I’ve always found it easy to communicate with​ people and to put them at ease. This helps individuals to talk freely and to reflect and untangle their thoughts. It helps couples, families and teams to open up and to be honest about what’s really going on. Having time to talk and reflect can unlock understanding. Understanding can pave the way for change.

I’ve had many different jobs over the years, but they have always been people focused. I initially worked with sales and marketing teams, then advertising and creative agencies and latterly I have been running my own business. My interest has always been to encourage people to communicate better and to work better together as a team. I studied executive and team coaching at the Henley Business School where I learnt the tools and techniques that I use in my coaching practice today.

Outside work I love spending time with friends and family, and my two grown up sons. I’m very sociable and love to say ‘yes’ to whatever is going on, which finds me doing all kinds of things I wouldn’t do otherwise! I love time outdoors walking, cycling and playing tennis. The last couple of years however have been difficult as I have family from Ukraine. It has made us all much more appreciative of the freedom and opportunities we have here and have often taken for granted.

Do I need a coach or a therapist?

Deciding between coaching and therapy depends on your specific needs and goals. If you are looking to establish future objectives, explore new opportunities or build personal growth strategies, coaching could be ideal.  However, if you need to delve into emotional issues, past traumas, or mental health conditions, seeking therapy might be more suitable.  Together we can discuss your situation and decide the best path forward.

In our sessions, we will work together in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.  We will explore your goals, strengths and barriers to success, crafting a tailored plan that will help you to move forward.  You can expect honesty, actionable insights and support that is personalised to you.

I offer a broad spectrum of coaching services including life coaching, relationship coaching, executive coaching and team coaching.  Each approach is tailored to support your unique challenges and aspirations.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required will vary depending on your individual goals, challenges and progress.  During our initial meeting we will create a personalised roadmap based on what you are looking to achieve, adapting as needed to ensure lasting success.

Can talking really help?

Turning a problem or a challenge around and around in your head often gets you nowhere. It is difficult to unpack your thoughts and feelings without the space and support to do so.

Talking helps you to pause and reflect on what it is you are really trying to say and what is
really going on. As you unravel your thinking it frees you up to decide how to move forward and take action.
