Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions 1st January 2024

  1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all coaching clients (‘Client ’) of Julia Ancliff (‘Coach ’) and supersede any other terms unless expressly agreed in writing by the Coach. By booking a coaching session, the Client agrees to these terms.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to review from time to time. A copy of any revised Terms and Conditions will be sent to you and will supersede previous versions.

  1. Booking and Scheduling

Coaching sessions are booked directly with the Coach by Zoom, phone or email.

The length of each session will be agreed at the time of the booking and paid for in advance by bank transfer. Sessions may over-run by mutual agreement and paid for retrospectively.

Clients may cancel or reschedule a session up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled time. Cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours will only be refunded at the discretion of the Coach. In exceptional circumstances the Coach may need to rearrange a coaching session and will give the client 48 hours’ notice where practical.

  1. Fees and Payment

Current fees will be made clear at the time of booking.  Full payment in advance is required for confirmation. The Coach reserves the right to change these from time to time. Any payments for sessions paid in advance will be honoured if prices have changed between the point of booking and the time of the session.

If applicable, VAT at the prevailing rate will be payable on the Coach’s fees.  All hourly rates quoted will be exclusive of VAT.

  1. Early Termination

In exceptional circumstances the Coach can decide to terminate the services early or may be unable to provide further coaching sessions to the Client. In such circumstance the Client will be refunded any advance payments made for coaching sessions not yet provided.

  1. Confidentiality

Personal or business information supplied by the Client in coaching sessions will be treated as confidential. It will not be disclosed to a third party without the Client’s prior consent, save where required by law, or where action might be necessary to prevent harm to the Client or someone else.

  1. Data Security and Protection​

The Client understands that the use of technology is not always secure and accepts the risks of confidentiality in the use of email, text, phone, WhatsApp, Zoom and any other technology.  The Coach cannot accept any liability for any degradation viruses or other infections.

The Client acknowledges that in order for the Coach to advise the Client and for the proper and effective management of the Client’s file, the Coach will obtain information from the Client including personal data. Such information with be dealt with in accordance with the Coach’s obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 and the GDPR.

  1. Liability

The Coach is not liable for any direct or indirect losses or damages arising from or in connection with the use of the coaching services.  The coach will only provide the Coach’s service to the Client and does not accept any liability to any other person.

  1. Changes to Terms

The Coach reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time upon notice to the Client.

  1. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  1. Disclaimer

The coaching services provided by the Coach are intended to support and assist the Client in reaching their own goals. These services are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any mental health or medical conditions. The Client acknowledges and accepts that the Client is not qualified to provide any medical or psychiatric advice or services. The Client agrees to waive any right to compensation or damages resulting from the coaching relationship contemplated by this agreement.
